It's Travel Tuesday Today!!
So, guess where we will be going today? It also starts with a T? Yep, we are visiting the State Fair of Texas in Dallas, Texas. Which opens September 29 and will run thru October 22, 2017.
This fair is one of my favorite fairs ever. There is so much to see and do. Especially, if you do not ride the rides, then you are in for such a treat of an entire day at the fair. First, let me give you their webpage, for easy access. Big Tex-State Fair of Texas
Be prepared to pocket your cash and purchase a ton of tickets to pay for everything. And to give you an idea as to pricing, you can buy 100 coupons (tickets) for $50.00.

Map It Out
9:00 a.m. arrive at fair and purchase tickets to get in
If you have young children, visit the Children's Barnyard early as it will get crowed
Things to do during the day.
Visit Natural History Museum in the Science Place Building
AND make sure you stay late enough to see the starlight parade. The time is not always anounced until that day. So, make sure you have your program/map for the exact time.
There are almost 100 different shows and things that you can do at the fair. So, there will not be a shortage or an "I'm bored" from the kids all day.
Also, beer is served at just about every food concession stand imaginable. Except probably the salt water taffy stands!!! And that's a wrap for travel tuesday,
