Mission of Carmel
Traveling is one of my favorite things to do in the whole world. Besides being with my family I love to travel and explore the world. I feel like I could be a professional traveler. Our family has had many opportunities to travel and even though, we love it all. From hostels, to nice motels, to cheap food and more expensive to my taste. It still does not compare to my favorite city/town ever. Carmel California is one of the most unusual and characteristic towns that I have EVER been to. You could literally walk the streets looking at the different architectural features of each house. However, what I love most about Carmel is their mission house that is on the outside of the city.
I've included a few pictures, but of course, it doesn't do it justice. The stucco and the painting of the mission is such a labor intense procedure. And yet, when you look at it, it truly calms your soul, with the colors so blended together. I've included just a few pictures and a short history of the mission in Carmel.

One of the last times that Denny and I were there, we had the chance to view some of a wedding being done in the mission courtyard. I thought I had died and gone to heaven viewing this. It's one of the reasons, that I moved to California, was to be able to go to Carmel all the time.
